Our Story

LAGÜS was born in the city of Lagos in 2023, specifically at Praia da Luz in the Algarve, Portugal. The brand was founded by Laura Rodrigues, a young Brazilian who has lived in Porto for many years. Laura was inspired by a transformative experience during a period living in the south, which led her to design and produce her own bikini models. After months of work, study and dedication, the brand was officially launched in February 2024.
The name "LAGÜS" reflects our deep connection with the sea, the immensity and nature, symbolizing the essence of freedom, beauty and authenticity that we strive to convey in each piece.
